The University for the Creative Arts\' International Foundation in Art & Design is specifically designed to prepare international students for undergraduate study in the UK.
This intensive course features:
- High-level support with a student to staff ratio of 15:1
- 24 hours of contact teaching time per week
- Weekly timetable of workshops, seminars, educational visits and independent study
- Entry points in January or March 2013 (to fast-track to undergraduate study in September 2013) and September or November 2013 (for 2014 entry)
- Pre-sessional English courses available before the start of the course
- Guaranteed progression onto an undergraduate course at UCA in September 2013.
The course will:
- Develop your practical skills and enable you to build a strong portfolio of work
- Enhance your study skills, research and contextual awareness skills
- Expand your art and design-specific vocabulary in preparation for undergraduate study
- Help you adjust to living and studying in the UK.
